Wintersweet is a medium-sized green bush with purple-black olive-shaped seeds. This South African bush has an alternative name: 'Bushman's poison' because the white sap from immature olives was used on hunting spears. The juice of the olive is a beautiful deep claret colour, and gives the yarn a beautiful dusky pink colour.
With 80% extra-fine merino and 20% Nylon, this yarn is soft and durable. This yarn is perfect for all projects including socks, garments, shawls and accessories. Yarns are in-stock and ready to ship!
