This purple yarn uses red (wine) grapeskin extract to give a UV (ultraviolet) bright colour-way. The colour absorbs onto the skein unevenly, giving it a wonderful variation of deep purple to an almost blue-mauve colour that is impossible to photograph but gorgeous, rich and deep in colour.
With 80% superfine merino and 20% nylon, this yarn is a smooth, soft and durable yarn. It is the perfect choice for socks, scarves, matching mittens and hats. The softness and strength of this yarn makes it ideal for shawls or shrugs. One skein will make an adult pair of socks.
This colour can be dyed on 4ply or 8ply yarn.
